We had a very enjoyable week at Belle Vue Gîtes. We stayed in La Chouette - it was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The facilities at Belle Vue are excellent - heated pool, hot-tub and games in the garden were used every day. The location is very good - about 30 mins from La Rochelle, 10 mins from supermarkets and 2 mins from boulangerie. Jon and Carine are excellent hosts too - very friendly and keen for everyone to have a fabulous holiday (which we did!).

We really enjoyed our stay, it's a lovely place! It's a beautiful property. Perfect for children with it's large garden and enclosed pool and games areas. Lots to entertain grown ups and children alike. Carine and John are very friendly, hospitable and helpful hosts. We would love to return there one day (the sooner the better!)

August 2019 - La Campagne
We loved staying at the gite and in particular the garden, pool and friendly atmosphere. It was great to be able to relax as our boys had a whale of a time, playing outdoors, staying up late and making new friends. The gite itself was comfortable and well equipped and made a great base for exploring the area. We just wish we'd had more time to explore more beaches and try some of the local restaurants.

August 2019 - La Grand Epoque
Belle Vue is a snug home from home. It is compact but has everything you need and is set in a lovely garden with orchard. The owners of the property are fantastic and make you feel very welcome. They are there to answer any questions you have and help you out in any way they can, nothing is too much trouble. Our family loved the pool, hot tub and made use of the bikes and badmington set. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxed week away

August 2019 - La Campagne
Had a lovely week in La Campagne in early June. The bijou gite had excellent facilities and is an ideal base for seeing the many delights of the Vendee. We really enjoyed the beautiful pool and extensive outdoor space. Jon & Carrine made us very welcome and we would definitely return if visiting the area again. Highlights of the week were trips to Green Venice, La Rochelle and I’le De Re.

June 2018 - La Campagne
The Belle Vue Gites were ideal for our holiday as a large family of 21, including 11 children. The accommodation was great as it enabled us each to have our own 'space' whilst also allowing us to eat together at the large table in the BBQ area, with the smaller round tables nearby for the children. There was plenty of activity available in the form of a lovely swimming pool, large safe garden (within which the children loved to play 'hide and seek') and which provided shady spots with deckchairs and small tables and chairs for our use. There were also around 10 bicycles of various sizes which nearly everyone used at some time or another, in particular to fetch the bread and croissants first thing in the morning. Jon and Carine are a lovely couple who were very helpful and gave us brochures and suggestions of things to do and where to visit. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a holiday with family or friends.

August 2017 - Exclusive (all 4 gites)
I stayed with my family in Rossignol for one week. We had such a wonderful week there. The gite was very comfortable and well equipped and Carine and Jon were very welcoming, friendly hosts. We loved the garden and got a lot of use out of the swimming pool & play equipment and the grandchildren were greatly impressed with the hot tub. There are good beaches not far away for days out. We enjoyed ourselves so much we immediately booked again for next year.

August 2017 - Le Rossignol
We absolutely loved our stay at Belle Vue. Although we had the smallest of the gites we really liked it and would definitely stay there again - you can eat your breakfast looking into the garden orchard and it is very peaceful. The children loved their little bunk room and playing in the garden and pool/hot tub, so we spent several days just relaxing on site. Carine and Jon and their children were great hosts - extremely friendly and helpful - and the gite was spotlessly clean which I mention because it's not always the case and we appreciated it.

We had a lovely week at one of the gites here, La Chouette. Jon and Carine, the new owners, were lovely and made us feel at home. The gite was very well equipped and clean, excellent amenities and well furnished, and with local information provided. Jon and Carine were on hand to offer advice about places to go to. Our two children loved playing with their children, and the others who were staying in the other 3 gites. Excellent facilities which have recently been renovated. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay, we really enjoyed staying here and would come again.
